Great place, me and my girlfriend we were in the suite number 7 for one night and it was amazing, from the bed to the jacuzzi. The place is very clean and very lovely.
We be back again definitely.
The hotel is not what we expected and is currently being run like serviced apartments. Overwhelming air freshener in the lobby which was from an industrial machine that seemed to be pumping it out the whole time we were there. Please turn it off! Room smaller than it looked when booking and en-suite no windows, but nicely done. Room looked quite luxurious but immediately my wife noticed hair and toenail clippings (yuk!) on the carpet. Called to their help desk and they said they would get cleaners immediately. We left to go for dinner and room had been done when we came back. Then we noticed no towels in bathroom , called again and luckily cleaning manager was still in hotel so gave us a couple of bath towels. I asked about breakfast as the restaurant was closed and he was surprised we had not been informed we had to walk 200m round the corner to a cafe where breakfast was being catered for hotel guests! Overall not what we expected and wouldn’t book again. Breakfast at the cafe was faultless and actually it is a high end cafe diner and very nice.
Honestly won’t be back!!! I stayed here when it was the previous owners and had a fantastic experience. This time though was completely different! The room looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned since the new owners took over, dust everywhere! dirty mirror, looked like someone had sneezed on it! Urine at the back of the toilet seat! not to mention it’s an unmanned hotel now, needless to say we had a few problems and it’s a pain having to keep calling them on the phone!! Honestly folks spend your money elsewhere.
We are not interested in leaving bad reviews on the internet as long as the hotel tries to fix everything after such a mess. Since this was not the case, we can only advise that you book somewhere else if you want to spend a relaxing vacation.
We had booked this hotel because of the many good reviews and found the concept of unmaned hotels not bad, as it can certainly save many resources.
However, when we arrived there were no towels in the room, so we called the hotline thinking that everything was now settled.
In the evening then the next shock - the lock of the room was in such a bad condition that it opened again and again and the hotel room could not be locked. After a very restless night, we called customer service, who sent someone from property management, since we had booked another night. While we were in the room he merely "fixed" the lock with glue. Again, we thought everything was fine until when we tried to get out of the hotel room, we found that we were now locked in because the lock would not open. So we had to call customer service again and ask to get us out of the hotel room.
After this chaos, we did not want to stay another night and we were promised that we would get both nights refunded due to the circumstances.
After several inquiries, no one wanted to know more about this promise and we were only promised the refund of one night (we only stayed one night but payed for two).
We have not yet received any refund. Additionally, we don't think this is fair after this mess, as many costly phone calls to customer service were also necessary. All in all, not a hotel to recommend.
booked the suite for 1 night must admit room was stunning n had plenty of space bed was big n very comfy with tv at bottom of bed had no problems with self service to side entrance and room door will definitely stay here again was just a shame the bar and restaurant was closed as its getting a makeover will definitely stay here again when the bar and restaurant is open only problem we had was hot water wasn't as hot as we liked it n maybe a we fridge in room to keep drinks cold would be nice the Mrs loved the jet bath
